# Project setups

> A working space to document AcuSight deployment and project setups — configurations, recipes, and site-specific notes — as they're established.

This section is a place to capture **project setups**: the concrete configurations, deployment recipes, and site- or customer-specific notes that don't belong in the general guides but are worth writing down so they can be repeated or handed off.

Think of it as the team's setup notebook — start a page per setup as you stand each one up. It grows over time; it doesn't need to be complete.

## What goes here

* **Deployment setups** — how a specific environment (a site, customer, or lab) is configured end to end.
* **Hardware setups** — the devices, accelerators, and cameras used for a given line or installation, and how they're wired.
* **Integration setups** — REST API, Co-Pilot/MCP, or data connections configured for a particular project.
* **Anything worth repeating** — a setup you'll want to reproduce or hand off later.

## Add a setup

1. Copy the [setup template](/project/setups/template) into a new page under `project/setups/`.
2. Fill in the sections and delete the ones that don't apply.
3. Add the page to the **Project** tab in `docs.json` so it shows in the sidebar.

Keep each setup self-contained, so someone can follow it start to finish without hunting through the rest of the docs.

<Note>
  This space is intentionally lightweight and separate from the [product documentation](/what-is-acusight), which covers how AcuSight works in general. Setups here are specific, concrete, and often internal — the "how we configured *this* one" companion to the general guides.
