How users join an organization
When someone signs up, their email domain decides which org they land in:- Company domain, first user — the org is created, the domain is claimed, and that user becomes the owner (for example, the first person to register with
@acme.com). - Company domain, later users — anyone else registering with that domain joins the existing org as a member.
- Generic domain (gmail, outlook, and similar) — the user gets their own personal org and is its owner.
Roles
Manage members
Go to Settings → Members:- Invite a user to your org. An invitation also reactivates someone who was previously removed.
- Remove a member. This revokes their access and deactivates their sign-in, so they can no longer authenticate — already-provisioned devices are unaffected.
Organization data is isolated by design. There’s no cross-org sharing of projects, devices, or datasets — moving data between orgs isn’t a supported operation.
